About Embodify Scan
Embodify Scan is the on-site measurement service of Embodify, a Toronto company. We measure houses and condos across the GTA and turn the scan into as-built drawings, so every designer and contractor works from the same numbers.
What we bring
A 360° camera and a 2D laser on a tripod, set up at several positions in every room. In key rooms and stairwells we add a vertical laser pass for ceiling, door and window heights.
How we check a delivery
- Every window’s size and height is checked against its source before the package goes out.
- The delivery page, the CAD and the model carry one set of numbers. If one changes, all three are reissued as a new version.
- The CAD is opened in blank imperial and metric templates to check units. The IFC model is validated and opened in a second, independent viewer.
- The delivery page is walked through end to end before the link goes out.
- Service area
- Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill and the rest of the GTA. Outside the GTA, ask.
- Turnaround
- About an hour on site for an average 2,000 sq ft house, and files typically within a week. Your quote confirms both.
